Well-muscled Women And Breast Augmentation

Just a few days back I was reading a Make Me Heal coverage of A-Rod’s various hookups and his penchant for honed and toned beauties. As they pointed out very clearly, almost every one of the notorious flings were rumored to have had a breast augmentation at one point or another.

They also mentioned another more important fact than A-Rod’s she-man tendency- the verity of muscular women and breast implants. They explained, “When women build up large amounts of muscle, the fatty tissue in their breasts nearly all but disappears, so many women opt to get a breast augmentation to help give their appearance more femininity.”

This is quite true.

In the female anatomy, the breasts are made up of the mammary glands, connective tissue and usually abundant fatty tissue. There is basically very less muscle in the breasts and when a woman works out, the fat all but dissipates in volume out here.

This results in a very low breast mass, which when remedied by a breast augmentation procedure can result in an unnatural contour- unless the cosmetic surgeon has chosen the right implant size to negate this effect.

Plastic surgeons use a submammary or subglandular breast implant placement to avoid the breast from jutting out too much from the chest. This places the implant over the pectoralis muscle and prevents stretching and stressing it too much.
