Surgery: An Anti-depressant:

It is the face that makes you memorable as well as sightable and now there is more.

Earlier it was believed that people undergo surgery for improving self-esteem and confidence, having a discomfort either physical or emotional. A recent study says that plastic surgery procedures can act as a natural mood enhancer as well.

Research proved that during a survey on 362 patients, including 61 patients (17 percent) who were taking antidepressants at the time of their surgery had dropped by 31 percent, or down to 42 patients, six months after surgery. It has been reported that 98 percent of patients said that plastic surgery had markedly improved their self-esteem.

This shows that plastic surgery proves to be an important factor responsible for the decrease in the number of patients requiring antidepressants.

The Plastic Surgery Institute of California is wholly committed to the utmost aesthetic triumph in improving our patient’s distinctiveness and guise.
