Neck Lift

Neck lift is a good way to get people to think you’ve lost weight or that you’ve performed some rigorous exercise to tone your neck. Neck lift can easily be overlooked. There are also several other solutions to fix a sagging or fleshy neck. Sometimes it also works the other way round, after you lose a lot of weight, your neck could take time to catch up.

Ofcourse hereditary is also a big reason for undergoing a neck lift. Though there is no age bar for a neck lift, people young and old undergo neck lift procedures all the time.

Neck lift is a set of procedures used to enhance the appearance of your neck. Cervicoplasty is the procedure used to remove excess skin. Platysmaplasty removes or alters neck muscle. Your surgeon also can perform neck liposuction, which removes excess fat. In some cases, botox injections may be the answer to your problems if you have fullness or "bands."

In liposuction, the surgeon makes a small incision below the chin and the excess fat is removed. When undergoing multiple procedures for a neck lift, the surgeon most often thannot begins with liposuction.

If you have weakened or loose neck muscles, this may cause the "turkey waddle" or appearance of neck "bands." Today there are new, less invasive neck procedures, where your surgeon may be able to make smaller incisions and use an endoscope (small camera attached to a thin tube) to complete your surgery. Make sure you ask your surgeon for all your options during your consultation.
