Americans Want To Change The Way They Look More Than Anyone Else

Research firm Synovate conducted a global beauty survey in May 2008 and pinpointed the vanity cases and the Plain Janes of the world in a rather startling result.

Regardless of the high percentage of plastic surgery work conducted in the United States, Brazil was found to lead the figures as the nation with the highest number of plastic surgery hopefuls. You would think that a country that breeds perfection (Adriana Lima, Gisele Bundchen, Cristiano Ronaldo, et al) would be more confident about the way they look!

Synovate collated the study through telephone, online and one-on-one questionnaires in nine markets around the world- Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, India, Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Spain and the U.S. before drawing up these conclusions.

This driving need for American men and women to look good also reflects in another aspect of the study, which placed them second to Poland in terms of the number of individuals who spend the most time in front of the mirror. Whoever said that that the economy is dampening hopes of having a cosmetic surgery procedure!

So if you fall in any of these groups of Americans you can visit the Plastic Surgery Institute of California for a cosmetic surgery consultation. Located in prime Californian locations like Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Los Angeles and Pasadena our advanced surgical institute will help you out with any of your queries.
