Celebrate Your Curves – With Cosmetic Surgery

Has the time of the curvy femme fatale come?

The judges at America’s Next Top Model sure think so. In a first of sorts, Whitney Thompson- a U.S. size 10, actually got past the tough competition and became the first woman to do so in the show’s history.

But I’m not surprised and in fact am rather pleased with such a spectacular assertion of womanly curves. Tyra Banks, the host and one of the judges on the show, is known for her weight issues as her weight regularly fluctuates. Also traditionally, the show features at least one model considered to be plus-sized.

It’s a good thing for all the curvy or let’s say- full-figured women out there as 20-year-old Whitney hopes to reach out to the multitudes of youngsters with eating disorders and weight issues.

She says, “I've already heard online from boys and girls all over the world who are dealing with eating disorders. They're thanking me for standing up and saying, 'I am a plus-size model and I am beautiful.”

Stories like these ought to keep these young people from resorting to plastic surgery to fight fat. Frequently for individuals that are under 18 years of age, plastic surgery procedures like liposuction and abdominoplasty are the preferred weight loss options.

This is a scenario that needs to be avoided however, as surgical modification of a young body at times results in hampering the natural growth process.

If you think plastic surgery is the answer to all your weight problems, think again. The expert cosmetic surgery consultants and plastic surgeons at the Plastic Surgery Institute of California can help you decide.
