Less U.S. Teen Pregnancies And Older Mums:

MSNBC reported a pleasant surprise last month. The latest U.S. pregnancy trends showed lesser numbers of young women with child. It discovered that there were more chances of an unwed mother turning out to be an older woman rather than a younger one.

Does this mean that the American girl is getting wiser about early pregnancies? Certainly and a good job she’s doing of it too!

Contraceptives and birth control awareness have been the main culprits of this nice trend and pundits think that TV shows and the glitzy lives of the glamorous could very likely also be one of the reasons.

Hmm… not a bad POV. Maybe teenagers prefer following the scandals their trendier counterparts on Gossip Girl and The Hills cause more than having one of their own.

But what about plastic surgery?

Teenage breast augmentation figures in the U.S. are in no way waning and seem to be spurred on by the happenings on the silver screen. The authorities in Australia are taking a stand though and the Queensland government are really, really serious about enforcing a ban on cosmetic surgery for under-18’s.

Our people in the States are contemplating a similar move which was greatly underlined by recent teenage deaths caused due to complications faced because of plastic surgery.

It remains to be seen now what the verdict is going to be. The Plastic Surgery Institute of California provides counsel and services for those parents who are faced with requests for cosmetic surgery from their teenage sons and daughters. Visit us to know more.
